SERVICE OVERVIEW
VTS Marine provides diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair service for marine generators and auxiliary engines aboard commercial vessels, including the load evaluation work needed to confirm a generator is fit for service.
Service availability: Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, the Fraser River, and surrounding BC coastal areas, with wider British Columbia and international support available by arrangement. Emergency and priority service is scheduled based on vessel location, technician availability, and operational urgency.

OUR DIAGNOSTIC & REPAIR APPROACH
Generators and auxiliary engines are often relied upon precisely when the main propulsion plant is not in a position to help, which makes their reliability a distinct priority from main engine service. Our approach evaluates the unit under real or simulated load rather than at idle only, since many faults, such as voltage fluctuation or breaker trips, only appear once the generator is carrying its intended load. Load testing may include operational load verification and load-bank testing when appropriate to the generator, installation, and diagnostic requirement. Service timing is referenced against the applicable OEM maintenance schedule for the specific unit.
